Teaming up with Girls On The Run NYC
Social responsibility is at the heart of WILL LANE's mission. We believe in the possibility of impactful social change through education and equal access to opportunities & resources for our next generation. As a former teacher, Founder Emily Soong has a personal passion for this cause. During her years of teaching, particularly at an all-girls school, she was transformed and inspired by her students.
Emily continues to want to do more and help create change through education programs. Therefore, WILL LANE is supporting Girls on the Run NYC and their Sneaker Soirée event featuring Deena Kastor, Olympian and American Record Holder, this Thursday (April 27) in NYC. All proceeds raised will support their mission to use running as a way to inspire 3rd-8th grade girls to lead joyful, healthy, and confident lives! GOTR provides scholarships for their program to help all girls achieve their limitless potential.
As part of this event, they are holding an ONLINE SILENT AUCTION with AMAZING items, including HAMILTON tickets, JETBLUE tickets & access to fitness classes across NYC! A complete set of WILL LANE activewear will be auctioned off with a 5 Class Pack from Body by Simone. We are encouraging our members to help support the important work that GOTR is doing so that our young girls can run, grow, and dream big.
